Strike a Pose!
Posing subjects can often be one of the most challenging aspects of portrait photography. Great posing can add emotion to a photo, and even shave off weight when done correctly. When it's done correctly your photos will turn from being a good photo to a great photo.
For this assignment; you are tasked to take 3 different photos of poses you select from your cheat sheet. It is important that you mirror the poses exactly to your model. Make sure you pay attention to how you frame your shot in the viewfinder and not to cut off your model at the ankles or any other joint for that matter. Another thing to watch for is the background you shoot on; too busy of a background will compete with your subject as well too boring of a background will dull down your finished piece.
When you are happy with your 3 photos you will download them to your computer and view them on screen. This will allow you to look close up of your work to make sure everything is the way you want it before moving on.
Each group member will have 3 photos of 3 different poses on 3 different backgrounds. No backgrounds will be the same
